Now that the Mount Vernon Inn is closed, I’m concerned that visitors to Winter Park have no where to stay. I have some friends who come down annually and stayed there. The closest motel to stay at now is Lee Rd and I-4 which means most folks have to drive to get to Winter Park.
My question is: Are any motel establishments going to be built with all the building going on 17-92. Is there one in the master plan? If there isn’t, shouldn’t this be considered? Winter Park has many events that out of towners come to.
